About The Position

Theradynamics is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator/Aide for an outpatient facility in New York. The company provides rehabilitative therapy services and works with patients to help them achieve their goals through creative treatments and specialized equipment. The position includes patient care coordination and aide/patient transportation duties. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Compensation depends on position, applicable experience, and employment type; rates shown may include per-diem roles without benefits and independent contractors.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
Well-organized and detail-oriented.
Exceptional communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Schedule therapy appointments.
Answer phone calls and emails.
File and print medical records.
Order equipment and process invoices.
Type medical reports.
Submit maintenance requests.
Provide customer service and front-desk assistance.
Assist with end-of-month billing tracking.
Track completion of therapy documentation.
Assist unit staff with transfers of residents and patients as necessary.
Transport residents and patients to and from therapy treatment areas.
Monitor residents and patients during exercise routines.
Set up and clean treatment areas.
Assist with cleaning and distributing wheelchairs.
Maintain equipment and make minor repairs.
Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, faxing, filing, and answering phones.
Keep the work area neat and orderly.
Maintain residents’ and patients’ safety during transport and while assisting in the treatment area.
Respond to instructions and guidance, find solutions to work-related problems, and complete assignments independently without constant supervision.
Attend and participate in required in-service educational and on-the-job training programs as directed or scheduled.
