About The Position

Theradynamics is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator/Aide for an outpatient facility in New York. The role combines patient care coordination and clerical support with assisting staff and patients in therapy areas. Theradynamics is a contract rehabilitative therapy company serving the Tri-State area and has worked with patients for more than 20 years. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
Well-organized and detail-oriented.
Exceptional communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Schedule therapy appointments.
Answer phone calls and emails.
File and print medical records.
Order equipment and invoices.
Type medical reports.
Submit maintenance requests.
Provide customer service and front-desk assistance.
Assist with tracking end-of-month billing.
Track completion of therapy documentation.
Assist unit staff with transfers of residents and patients as necessary.
Transport residents and patients to and from therapy treatment areas.
Monitor residents and patients during exercise routines.
Set up and clean treatment areas.
Assist with cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs.
Maintain equipment and make minor repairs.
Assist with clerical duties, including copying, faxing, filing, and answering phones.
Keep the work area neat and orderly.
Maintain residents' and patients' safety during transport and while assisting in the treatment area.
Respond to instructions and guidance, find solutions to work-related problems, and complete assignments independently without constant supervision.
Attend and participate in required and mandatory in-service educational programs and on-the-job training as directed or scheduled.
