About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the third-party and self-pay billing process, including follow-up, in an accurate and timely manner. The position requires essential communication between patients, billing department staff, and clinicians to ensure correct and current billing information. The representative must communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with patients and insurance carriers. Key duties include recording all guarantor information, calculating and posting payments, and making adjustments. The role also involves efficiently and accurately maintaining claim data.
