About The Position

MNF Global, a national legal search firm focused on IP, patent, and technology attorney placements, is presenting an opportunity with a highly regarded and expanding IP practice. The practice is seeking a Patent Prosecution Agent to draft and prosecute patent applications for sophisticated technology clients, including in telecommunications, AI, software, and computer systems. The role offers direct client exposure, meaningful responsibility, an entrepreneurial practice environment, and the opportunity to grow within an expanding IP practice. The position is based in Austin and involves collaboration with attorneys across a broad national IP platform. Expected compensation is approximately $140,000–$160,000, depending on experience and technical background.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience.
Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical degree required.
Strong patent drafting and prosecution background.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients.

Nice To Haves

USPTO registration preferred.
Experience with telecommunications, AI, software, or related technologies preferred.

Responsibilities
