About The Position

A highly regarded IP practice is seeking a Patent Prosecution Agent with at least 3 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for sophisticated technology clients. The role handles telecommunications, AI, software, and computer systems technologies and offers direct client exposure and meaningful responsibility within an entrepreneurial, expanding IP practice. The position is presented by MNF Global, a national legal search firm focused on IP, patent, and technology attorney placements. Expected compensation is approximately $140,000–$160,000, depending on experience and technical background.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience.
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
Strong patent drafting and prosecution background.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients.

Nice To Haves

USPTO registration preferred.
Experience with telecommunications, AI, software, or related technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
