EE/CS Patent Agent: Telecom, AI & Software
About The Position
A highly regarded intellectual property practice is seeking a Patent Prosecution Agent with at least three years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for sophisticated technology clients. The role is based in Austin and is presented by MNF Global, a national legal search firm focused on IP, patent, and technology attorney placements. The agent will handle U.S. and international patent applications involving telecommunications, artificial intelligence, software, and computer systems. The position offers direct client exposure, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to grow within an expanding, entrepreneurial IP practice and collaborate with attorneys across a broad national IP platform.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience.
- Strong patent drafting and prosecution background.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients.
Nice To Haves
- USPTO registration is preferred.
- Experience with telecommunications, AI, software, or related technologies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
