Within our company, Sullivan Family Kitchen (SFK) in Waipahu is responsible for the creation of high-quality, ready-to-eat products distributed across SFOC locations statewide. We are looking for highly motivated team players with prior leadership and baking experience to join our team as Pastry Lead. This position involves motivating and supervising our team in preparation, production and baking of pastry items while ensuring sanitation and safety in all work areas. This position is responsible for writing orders, inventory, and verification processes.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school education or equivalent, required
Previous baking experience, required
Must have Tuberculosis Clearance required or Willing to take test upon offer.
Must comply with all company policies and requirements
Applicant should be able to reliably commute to work on time.

Responsibilities

Motivating and supervising our team in preparation, production and baking of pastry items
Oversee the team by helping to keep team members on track with their daily work and assist when needed
Creation of prep sheets, schedules, inventory, and verification processes
Safely handle physical tasks, including lifting 30-50 lbs. and maintaining stamina throughout the shift while working in warm or refrigerated environment.
Uphold strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.
