Within our company, Sullivan Family Kitchen (SFK) in Waipahu is responsible for the creation of high-quality, ready-to-eat products distributed across SFOC locations statewide. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Culinary Cold Prep at Sullivan Family Kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess a strong affinity for culinary foods, demonstrate physical dexterity, and contribute positively to our production environment. This role involves working with a team to process vegetables and other ingredients to produce fresh ready-to-eat products.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
High school diploma or equivalent is a prerequisite.
Must have Tuberculosis Clearance required or Willing to take test upon offer.
Must comply with all company policies and requirements
Language: Speak/Read/Write - English
Applicant should be able to reliably commute to work on time.
Must have open availability for various shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in pastry preparation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Using a knife and other automated equipment this position will cut, chop and prep vegetables and other ingredients
Work with a team to assemble products
Safely handle physical tasks, including lifting 30-50 lbs. and maintaining stamina throughout the shift.
Adhere to established culinary techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
Collaborate seamlessly with team members to optimize production workflows.
Uphold strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.
