About The Position

The Pastry Cashier provides customer service and handles cash in a retail store environment. The role is expected to model the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining its core values. Requirements

Valid Food Handlers Card.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent results, with persistence and perseverance.
Ability to show care, compassion, empathy, and concern for people.
Ability to be approachable and build positive relationships with diverse people.
Ability to meet the physical demands of continuously walking and standing throughout the shift, and lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers.
Improve the speed and efficiency of service provided.
Take food orders in person and by telephone.
Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety.
Follow procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellations, and saved recall transactions.
Be responsible for personal cashier productivity.
Build and maintain positive team relationships and relate well to diverse people.
Perform other duties as assigned.
