About The Position

As a member of the passenger services team, you will assist passengers and their property in arriving safely at their destinations. The role involves passenger check-in and boarding support for domestic, international, and charter flights, along with tasks related to airport operations and applicable governmental requirements. The work takes place indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. Employees must follow workplace health and safety procedures and take reasonable care of their own and others’ health, safety, and wellbeing. The company prohibits misuse of alcohol and drugs and conducts regular testing under its Substance Misuse Policy. The position pays $17.50 per hour and offers a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days for employees in good standing. Flight benefits are available.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
One year of customer service experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal, if applicable.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Able to continuously lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

Check in passengers for international and domestic travel using computerized systems.
Designate seat assignments.
Verify documentation for international and domestic flights.
Ensure passengers receive the correct boarding passes for their assigned charter flights.
Verify tickets and seat reservations.
Match the passenger manifest to the on-board count.
Assist with governmental agency requirements.
Connect and disconnect jetways or stairs as necessary.
Announce arrivals and departures as necessary.
Take reasonable care of personal and others’ health, safety, and wellbeing, following provided information, training, and workplace rules or procedures.
