Party Host
About The Position
At Main Event, Party Hosts create memorable birthday celebrations by welcoming and engaging birthday parties and hosting them throughout their scheduled activities. They manage event details so birthday parents do not have to, interact with guests, anticipate party needs, and assist the party parent or planner. The role also includes handling gifts and cake, processing payments, and setting up, breaking down, and cleaning party areas while upholding safety and sanitation standards. The position calls for a guest-focused, collaborative team member with attention to detail, strong multitasking skills, and effective communication with management, team members, and guests. Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required. Availability for days, nights, and/or weekends is required.

Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage arriving birthday parties and host them throughout their scheduled activities.
- Interact with guests throughout birthday events to create memorable experiences.
- Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party parent or party planner.
- Gather and store birthday gifts and cake, if applicable.
- Process payment transactions and welcome guests back.
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party event.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
