About The Position

At Main Event, Party Hosts create fun, memorable birthday celebrations and manage scheduled activities so birthday parents do not have to. They welcome and engage with birthday parties, monitor events, anticipate needs, assist party parents or planners, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. The role also involves handling party items, processing payments, and setting up, breaking down, and cleaning party areas.

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage arriving birthday parties and host them throughout their scheduled activities.
• Interact with party guests to create memorable birthday experiences.
• Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party parent or party planner.
• Gather and store birthday gifts and cake, when applicable.
• Process payment transactions and welcome guests back.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party event.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
