About The Position
At Main Event, Party Hosts create memorable birthday celebrations by managing scheduled activities and delivering a fun, safe, and sanitary experience for Guests. They welcome birthday parties, engage with Guests throughout the event, anticipate party needs, and support the birthday parent or party planner. Hosts also handle gifts and cake, process payments, and set up, break down, and clean the party area.
Requirements
- Guest-focused mindset.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong multitasking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
- Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome arriving birthday parties and serve as their Host throughout scheduled activities.
- Interact with and engage party Guests to create memorable experiences.
- Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party parent or party planner.
- Gather and store birthday gifts and cake, if applicable.
- Process payment transactions and welcome Guests back.
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party event.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
