About The Position
At Main Event, Party Hosts create memorable birthday celebrations by engaging with Guests and managing scheduled party activities so birthday parents do not have to. Hosts know the event details, help ensure celebrations run smoothly, and uphold high standards of safety and sanitation.
Requirements
- A guest-focused mindset.
- Teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong multitasking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
- Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage arriving birthday parties and serve as their Host throughout scheduled activities.
- Interact with and engage party Guests to create memorable birthday experiences.
- Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party parent or party planner.
- Gather and store birthday gifts and cake, if applicable.
- Process payment transactions and welcome Guests back.
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party event.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
