About The Position
At Main Event, Party Hosts create memorable birthday celebrations by welcoming and engaging arriving parties and hosting them throughout their scheduled activities. They know event details, manage activities so parents can enjoy the celebration, monitor events, anticipate needs, and assist party parents or planners. The role also includes handling gifts and cake when applicable, processing payments, and welcoming guests back. Hosts set up, break down, and clean party areas while upholding safety and sanitation standards. Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but is not required. The role calls for a guest-focused approach, teamwork, attention to detail, multitasking, and effective communication with management, team members, and guests. Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends is required.

Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage arriving birthday parties and host them throughout scheduled activities.
- Interact with party guests to create memorable experiences.
- Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party parent or party planner.
- Gather and store birthday gifts and cake, if applicable.
- Process payment transactions and welcome guests back.
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
