About The Position

The Parts Warranty Administrator provides support to Parts Warranty and Warehouse operations. This role requires a self-motivated team player who actively contributes to the team and seeks remedies that support customer satisfaction and retention. The position handles warranty requests, claim documentation, defective-component returns, warranty inventory, manufacturer credits, and billable warranty charges while maintaining effective communication and ethical relationships between customers and manufacturers.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Business or two years of related administrative experience.
• Strong computer skills in MS 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
• Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Warranty experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate incoming warranty requests from all HTS divisions.
• Maintain an active log of warranty activity, including correspondence with customers and manufacturers, using Zendesk.
• Administer collection and return of manufacturer-required defective components.
• Administer inventory items used for warranty purposes and ensure proper stock replacement practices.
• Monitor pending credits due from manufacturers.
• Oversee billable warranty charges.
• File electronic warranty claims with manufacturers.
• Maintain ethical relationships between end customers and manufacturers to protect both parties’ interests.
• Apply strong organizational, customer service, attention-to-detail, follow-through, decision-making, critical-thinking, and verbal and written communication skills.
