About The Position

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Parts Warehouse Associate to receive, organize, maintain, and prepare merchandise and parts for shipment or delivery. The role also provides customer service at the counter and by telephone, including identifying the correct parts using catalogs. The associate maintains a clean and safe work environment, cares for equipment, follows company and security procedures, stays current on the company product line, and assists in other areas as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license.
Forklift operator certification.

Nice To Haves

Training in a dealership environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Check, package, and prepare merchandise for shipment.
Receive incoming merchandise from suppliers.
Enter information into the computer and maintain files as required.
Assist with core inspections and warranty tracking.
Pull, organize, and log orders for shipment or delivery.
Stock, maintain, and locate parts in the proper bins, and mark products.
Provide customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
Search catalogs to identify the correct part for customers.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Care for equipment.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
Follow security procedures.
Assist in other areas as needed.
Stay current on the company product line.
Perform other duties as assigned.
