About The Position

Parts Specialists are the sales force of the retail parts department. They handle customer transactions from start to finish while working to achieve department and personal goals. The role supports customers and store profitability through teamwork, effective sales and merchandising, customer relationship management, and accurate inventory practices.

Requirements

Ability to work 9 or more hours per day during normal scheduled store hours.
Ability to work weekends.
Ability to work in a high-stress environment and meet tight deadlines, including working longer or later hours as needed.
Ability to engage and interact continually with clients and employees throughout the workday using communication methods including phone and computer.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds and push more than 100 pounds.

Work effectively with employees, departments, and locations to provide customers with a seamless experience and promote teamwork and store profitability.
Support team-member performance through evaluations, recognition, rewards, and coaching practices.
Maintain accountability for cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
Continually learn and apply selling skills, strategies, and techniques; complete OEM or vendor training within company timelines; and maintain product, market, and industry knowledge.
Achieve personal and department revenue and margin goals through effective merchandising and selling.
Manage CRM systems to maximize leads and customer loyalty and retention.
Communicate inventory information accurately and effectively to internal and external customers.
Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling shrinkage and obsolescence, organizing inventory, and ensuring the customer-facing showroom meets or exceeds company cleanliness standards.
Attend work during scheduled store hours, including weekends, and work extended hours when needed.
