About The Position

The Parts / Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, pulling, delivering, and distributing parts in support of daily dealership operations. This position ensures the timely movement of inventory, accurate receiving and shipping processes, and exceptional internal and external customer service. The clerk works closely with the Parts, Service, and Sales Departments to maintain efficient operations while ensuring inventory accuracy and workplace safety. The position is full-time and non-exempt, located in the Parts Department at Watson Truck & Supply, Inc. in Hobbs, New Mexico. Pay is based on experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or parts operations.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good numerical reasoning and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts to vendors, customers, and company locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Receive, inspect, unload, and stock incoming parts and inventory.
• Pull and stage parts for service technicians, customers, and internal departments.
• Load and unload freight trucks safely and efficiently.
• Prepare parts and materials for shipment and customer distribution.
• Maintain inventory organization and proper part storage locations.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities.
• Help maintain parts department equipment and warehouse organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts and receiving area on a daily basis.
• Assist counter personnel and outside sales representatives when needed.
• Support other departments as business needs require.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
• Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.
