About The Position

Walker Automotive is seeking a dependable and organized individual to join its Wholesale Parts Department as a Parts Driver / Shipping & Receiving Clerk. The position delivers automotive parts to customers and other dealership locations and assists with receiving, inspecting, organizing, and preparing parts for shipment. It also involves maintaining shipment, delivery, and inventory records; keeping the warehouse and delivery vehicles clean and organized; and communicating with department personnel about deliveries, returns, and discrepancies. The role requires following company safety procedures and providing professional customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and move automotive parts.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous delivery, warehouse, or automotive parts experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver automotive parts to customers and other dealership locations in a timely and professional manner.
Load and unload parts for daily deliveries.
Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against invoices and packing slips.
Inspect shipments for damaged, missing, or incorrect parts.
Package, label, and prepare parts for shipment or delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory.
Stock and organize parts in designated storage areas.
Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
Communicate with department personnel regarding deliveries, returns, and discrepancies.
Follow company safety procedures and maintain professional customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
