Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Dealership experience is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in, phone, and internal service customers (technicians and advisors) in selecting and purchasing the correct parts and accessories
- Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product information
- Recommend related parts, accessories, and current dealership promotions
- Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and urgency
- Pull and fill customer and technician orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure parts are billed correctly on repair orders
- Process sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims
- Work closely with service advisors and technicians to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Keep the parts counter, warehouse, and showroom clean, organized, and ready for business
