About The Position

The Parts Retail Associate helps customers purchase automotive parts and accessories, interacting with retail guests and technicians to create an exceptional buying experience and build customer loyalty to AutoNation. This is a commission role with an estimated income of $2k+/month.

Success is measured by achieving parts sales targets and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Promptly assist technicians and retail guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail guests in a timely manner.
• Price parts and accessories accurately using the proper pricing source and enter the information in the appropriate document and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Maintain the parts department in a clean and orderly manner.
• Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Achieve parts sales targets and customer satisfaction targets.
