About The Position

Clawson Honda is seeking a reliable, professional Wholesale Delivery Driver for its fast-paced parts department. The driver delivers automotive parts to commercial and wholesale shop partners across the Central Valley, serving as a customer-facing representative and ensuring deliveries are safe, timely, and accurate. The role involves managing a daily route, preparing and verifying orders, completing delivery-related documentation, handling returns and COD payments, and maintaining the assigned vehicle. The schedule must be flexible to accommodate operations six days a week.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record.
• Follow traffic laws and regulations and prioritize safe operation of the company vehicle.
• Have a flexible schedule and be available during the company’s six-day operating week.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and verify part numbers, invoices, delivery manifests, and cash handling.
• Have strong organizational and time-management skills to load the van efficiently and complete the delivery route on time.
• Be able to lift up to 150 lbs with the assistance of a hand truck.
• Be able to sit in a moving vehicle for several hours at a time.
• Be able to load, unload, and carry parts, including frequent lifting and bending.
• Have strong communication skills for courteous interaction with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, pack, and organize the company vehicle for scheduled deliveries of automotive parts to commercial and wholesale shop partners.
• Perform morning checks to confirm that parts sold have been pulled and loaded for the route.
• Verify parts against invoices at each delivery stop and check off each item to ensure customers receive only the parts they ordered.
• Assist the wholesale team by pulling inventory parts and labeling them with the shop name, date, and employee number.
• Invoice Sales Orders (SORs) and pick tickets in the CDK system before departure, ensuring only parts being delivered that day are invoiced.
• Maintain required documentation, including handling and logging cash-on-delivery payments.
• Pick up customer returns from shops and log and check them into the return bin at the end of the shift.
• Perform daily safety checks on the assigned delivery vehicle and complete a weekly vehicle log.
• Keep the vehicle clean, including weekly interior and exterior washing, and ensure monthly service is completed.
• Maintain a professional attitude, conduct, and appearance when interacting with customers and team members.
