About The Position

The Parts Runner is responsible for timely and efficient transportation of parts and materials between locations, suppliers, and departments. The role supports workflow and productivity by ensuring parts and materials are accurately delivered to their required destinations. Duties may include loading and unloading items and verifying quantities and descriptions against purchase orders or invoices. The Parts Runner also performs basic maintenance and cleaning of the delivery vehicle, such as checking oil, tire pressure, and fuel levels before trips, and provides professional customer service to suppliers and internal customers, addressing delivery issues or concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; a commercial driver's license may be required for larger vehicles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, squat, and sit for extended periods and perform physical duties involving extensive use of arms and legs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive a vehicle and get in and out of a truck while carrying materials.

• Previous experience in a delivery role.
