About The Position

Sierra Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing is hiring a Parts Runner to support its residential HVAC and plumbing operations in the Las Vegas Valley. The role ensures field technicians receive the parts, materials, equipment, and supplies they need to complete jobs efficiently and provide strong customer service. Duties combine deliveries and vendor pickups with warehouse support, inventory organization, shipment receiving, and communication with dispatch, warehouse staff, and technicians. The Parts Runner also represents the company professionally when interacting with vendors and customers and follows company safety procedures while operating vehicles and handling materials.

The position offers on-the-job training and potential advancement into warehouse, parts specialist, technician apprentice, and other operational roles. Compensation is $18.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities and stable, year-round employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Dependability, strong attendance, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely load and unload materials and equipment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, HVAC, plumbing, or construction experience preferred.
• Previous experience operating company vehicles is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HVAC, plumbing, and warehouse materials to technicians throughout the day.
• Pick up parts and equipment from local vendors and suppliers.
• Verify orders for accuracy before delivery.
• Return unused materials and warranty parts.
• Receive incoming shipments and accurately stock inventory.
• Assist with inventory counts and organization.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Help load and unload company vehicles.
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and field technicians.
• Maintain delivery logs and required documentation.
• Assist with warehouse projects and daily operational needs.
• Respond quickly to technician needs in support of company goals.
• Safely operate company vehicles and follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude, representing the company professionally to vendors and customers.
