About The Position

The Parts Runner is responsible for transporting parts and materials efficiently and on time between suppliers, workplace locations, and departments. The role supports operational workflow and productivity by ensuring parts and materials are accurately delivered to their intended destinations. Duties include loading and unloading items, verifying quantities and descriptions against purchase orders or invoices, performing basic delivery-vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks, and providing professional customer service to suppliers and internal customers. The job may involve resolving delivery-related issues or concerns. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time, with or without notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, squat, and sit for extended periods and perform physical duties requiring extensive use of arms and legs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive a vehicle and get in and out of a truck while carrying materials.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a delivery role.
• A commercial driver's license may be required for larger vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport parts and materials from suppliers to the workplace and between workplace departments.
• Load and unload deliveries and verify quantities and descriptions against purchase orders or invoices.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle’s basic cleanliness and check oil, tire pressure, and fuel levels before trips.
• Provide customer service to suppliers and internal customers and professionally address delivery-related issues or concerns.
