About The Position

The Parts Runner manages inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution of parts and supplies that support fleet and equipment maintenance. The role helps ensure technicians have the materials they need to complete repairs efficiently. The position is with Priority, a technology company serving municipal solid-waste and construction and demolition customers from facilities across three states.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer proficiency.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of inventory, warehouse, or parts experience.
Experience with fleet or heavy equipment parts.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, fluids, tires, and shop supplies.
Issue parts to technicians and record transactions in the maintenance system.
Order parts and shop supplies from approved vendors to maintain proper stock levels.
Receive shipments, verify packing slips, and inspect items for damage.
Process returns, cores, and warranty claims.
Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits.
Organize and maintain a clean, orderly parts room.
Ensure materials are properly stored and labeled.
Comply with company safety policies.
Support the maintenance team with parts research and vendor communication.
Assist with general shop organization as needed.
