Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
At least 5 years of automotive parts department experience.

Responsibilities

Work with the Service Manager to ensure parts for internal jobs are ordered and received in a timely manner.
Lead, hire, train, and monitor the performance of parts staff.
Monitor parts department payroll and time off.
Direct parts staff activities and encourage teamwork and a high level of customer service.
Develop strategies to make the department more efficient and profitable.
Maintain parts inventory, ensure the sales inventory system is accurate, and manage vendor relationships.
Ensure customer orders are accurate and timely.
Handle customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
