Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in parts operations, industrial inventory management, or industrial sales.
Experience within the printing/packaging industry is highly preferred.
Proficiency with modern ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data analysis).
Demonstrated management, strategic leadership, and personnel development skills.
Proven track record of driving operational changes that intersect across supply chain, labor, and customer service.
Strong strategic planning capability—ability to look beyond day-to-day fulfillment to build an operational roadmap.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to translate complex technical specifications into clear terms for customers and internal stakeholders.
Must collaborate effectively with international factory partners.

Responsibilities

Lead a profitable, efficient, and customer-centric Parts Department through strategic inventory management, data-driven pricing, strong team leadership, and process refinement.
Ensure Koenig & Bauer is "the easiest company to do business with" by delivering outstanding technical communication, rapid order fulfillment, and flawless execution.
Establish and guide departmental activities to achieve annual revenue and profitability targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Manage, train, and motivate Parts Department personnel, overseeing scheduling, daily operations, and performance management.
Collaborate with Field Service dispatch to proactively project parts requirements for maintenance, installs, and repairs.
Drive continuous process improvement to streamline workflows and increase service department efficiency.
Partner with the Koenig & Bauer factory in Germany, domestic warehouse teams, accounting, and field service departments for seamless project execution.
Monitor and balance parts inventory to maximize order fill rates while controlling carrying costs.
Plan, fulfill, and audit parts consignment inventories at customer sites.
Minimize inventory obsolescence through quarterly scrap cycles and system adjustments.
Lead meetings with Warehouse and Finance teams to resolve undocumented returns or receiving variances.
Support the year-end physical inventory count.
Oversee the end-to-end order management lifecycle from request to delivery.
Execute pricing structures that balance market competitiveness with corporate gross margin goals.
Support the expansion of the Service Select Program by tracking parts-consumption trends for service and maintenance contracts.
Monitor and report on department-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical parts inquiries, billing disputes, and high-priority customer complaints.
