About The Position
The Parts Foreman is the beating heart of operations, responsible for the shop’s catalogue of machine parts. U-Haul is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible individual who loves working with their hands and has a knack for organization. This role is crucial for maintaining the largest fleet of trucks and trailers in the industry. U-Haul provides the support and tools needed to succeed and grow, offering endless opportunities for career advancement. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer-savvy
- Forklift certified
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate inventory to allow your shop to perform necessary repairs to our fleet.
- Effectively communicate with internal supply chain, vendors and freight carriers.
- Maintain purchase orders, pay bills and reconcile issues.
- Audit inventory levels, reduce obsolete inventory and return unused parts.
- Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
