Parts Distribution Center Supervisor
About The Position
The Parts Distribution Center Supervisor is the front-line leader responsible for daily execution, safety, quality, and customer service. The role ensures consistent performance on the shop floor while supporting adoption of digital tools, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a practical understanding of how daily decisions affect service, labor efficiency, and cost; application of Lean and basic industrial engineering concepts to front-line problem solving; interpretation of dashboards and performance data with business context; and understanding of tradeoffs among quality, safety, productivity, and service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role and/or a bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Practical understanding of how daily decisions impact service, labor efficiency, and cost.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field of study.
- Manufacturing supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
