About The Position

The Parts Distribution Center Supervisor is the front-line leader responsible for daily execution, safety, quality, and customer service. The role ensures consistent shop-floor performance while supporting adoption of digital tools, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position applies practical business understanding, Lean and basic industrial engineering concepts, and performance data to front-line problem solving and daily operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role and/or a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Practical understanding of how daily decisions affect service, labor efficiency, and cost.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field of study.
• Manufacturing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-focused daily execution and support service reliability.
• Coach and mentor employees and provide safety leadership.
• Conduct root-cause problem solving and execute kaizen activities.
• Use dashboards and AI-assisted tools to manage daily performance.
• Apply Lean and basic industrial engineering concepts to front-line problem solving.
• Interpret dashboards and performance data in business context.
• Understand and manage quality, safety, productivity, and service tradeoffs.
