About The Position

Metro Kia of Madison is hiring a Parts Counterperson to support its service operation by helping customers and service technicians identify and obtain the correct vehicle parts. The role includes managing parts orders, maintaining and organizing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and using digital catalog and inventory systems to check availability and pricing. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Saturday rotation required twice per month. Candidates are subject to a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Requirements

• Basic automotive knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Comfort communicating with mechanics and explaining parts to everyday drivers.
• Attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Ability to navigate inventory software and computer systems.

• Previous experience in a Kia parts room or automotive retail.
