About The Position

The Parts Counter/Warehouse Specialist primarily takes parts orders by phone and assists walk-in customers. The role looks up part numbers in equipment parts books or online resources and loads and unloads freight using a forklift. Other related duties may be assigned. Work takes place partly in an office and partly in a warehouse, with occasional local travel possible. The position requires flexibility to work varying schedules and hours as needed, including a Saturday rotation and extended evening hours during peak seasons.

Requirements

Previous experience in parts and inventory, as well as farm equipment experience.
Basic knowledge of core parts operations and knowledge of sprayers, combines, and tractors.
Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to safely and promptly operate a standard forklift and manual pallet jack.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders and stairs daily.
Computer skills, especially with UPS Worldship, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write professional business letters and emails.
Detail-oriented, with previous industrial customer service experience.
Ability to perform general math calculations involving money, weight, volume, and distance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to participate in a Saturday work rotation and work extended evening hours during peak seasons.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record: no more than two minor violations in the past three years and no major violations in the past five years. A Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on the final candidate.
