About The Position

N C Machinery is seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson for its Juneau branch. This position plays a key role in the Parts Department and is responsible for actively selling and promoting parts, components, and processes to VIP customers. The role involves frequent interaction with external customers and employees, so strong, clear, and friendly interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will help ensure high customer satisfaction by promoting the company’s products and services, promptly following up on customer orders, and actively selling or suggesting additional products. Candidates should provide action-oriented, accurate, and friendly service to create a positive customer experience. The position offers an hourly rate starting at $31.40, with the amount offered based on skills and experience, plus commission.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency working with computers and Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a variety of tasks.
• Strong, clear, and friendly interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous parts or sales experience.
• Working knowledge of Caterpillar parts and components.
