About The Position

United Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership with multiple locations across the Northeast, is hiring a Parts Counter Sales employee. The role assists customers by phone and in person with ordering and researching parts for John Deere and other equipment sold in the territory. The employee supports parts department operations and customer service while working with internal and external customers and vendors.

Requirements

Provide strong customer service to internal and external customers.
Basic computer skills.

Strong organizational skills.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 2–3 years of customer service experience.
Experience with John Deere equipment.

Responsibilities

Sell, stock, receive, and deliver parts and accessories.
Provide in-store customer service and assist customers with ordering and researching parts by phone and in person.
Support overall organizational promotions.
Work with vendors and alternative resources.
Work collaboratively with internal and external customers.
Monitor shortages and expedite processes.
Keep the parts department and warehouse clean and orderly.
Ensure inventory control practices are followed.
