About The Position

Mustang Cat is hiring an experienced Level 2 Parts Counter Sales Representative to provide advanced parts support to customers and internal teams. The representative uses technical knowledge and customer-service skills to identify and sell the correct parts, respond to inquiries, and ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment. The role also involves suggesting related products, supporting team members, and maintaining a professional, organized, and safe workspace.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in parts sales, automotive, heavy equipment, or a related field.
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment or machinery.
Customer-focused, sales-first approach and professional communication skills.
Comfort using parts lookup systems, inventory software, and modern business applications.
Self-motivated, reliable, and efficient in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience using CAT systems or similar parts platforms.
Background in heavy equipment, diesel, construction, or industrial parts sales.
Ability to support team members and lead by example in customer interactions.

Responsibilities

Serve customers at the counter, by phone, and by email, providing expert parts support.
Identify, quote, and sell parts based on customer needs, equipment models, and technical specifications.
Suggest related products and upselling opportunities.
Check pricing, availability, lead times, and shipping options.
Process orders accurately and support timely fulfillment.
Coordinate with internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Assist with training or mentoring new team members as needed.
Maintain a professional, organized, and safe workspace.
