Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of customer service experience.
Active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
Good mechanical aptitude or understanding of how things are assembled and work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

1-3 years of counter sales experience.
Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Selling spare and replacement parts for equipment in repair shop or parts store.
Looking up parts for customers and service technicians via phone, fax, or in person using computer systems.
Providing quotes to customers.
Informing customers about parts availability and shipping options.
Offering customers replacement part options such as remanufactured or used parts.
Advising customers on part replacement or modification when identical parts are unavailable.
Examining returned parts for defects, processing exchanges, or issuing credit.
Assisting in the warehouse as needed.
Applying knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment, service quality standards, and customer evaluations.
Promoting and selling products and services offered by Fabick.
Answering phones promptly and professionally.
Acknowledging counter customers immediately, even when assisting another customer.
Maintaining working knowledge of parts information systems (DBS, SIS, WMS, etc.).
Performing other duties as directed.
