About The Position
McLaren Vancouver, part of the Lithia & Driveway organization, is seeking a Parts Advisor to join their team. The role involves picking parts, delivering them to internal customers, and assisting with inventory management. The Parts Advisor will report to the Fixed Operations Manager at the Vancouver, British Columbia location.
Requirements
- 3+ years of working experience as a Parts Advisor.
- CDK experience required
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Aptitude for numbers.
- Interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Detail oriented, organized and multi-tasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving goods, check and count items unloaded from suppliers and report any discrepancies to management.
- Assist all customers in selecting required parts ensuring optimum customer service.
- Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Use company vehicle to drop off or pick up parts from suppliers/customers.
- Pick parts using picking ticket and deliver to technician's work bench.
- Return all parts from workshop that are not needed or required by technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Fixed Operations Manager
