About The Position
Jeff Wyler Kings Nissan is hiring a full-time Parts Counter Person. The role is for an experienced automotive parts professional, preferably with strong original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts knowledge. The Parts Advisor identifies, orders, and sells genuine OEM automotive parts using manufacturer-specific electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems. The position supports dealership technicians, service advisors, retail customers, and wholesale accounts by ensuring parts are identified, sourced, and delivered accurately and efficiently. The company seeks a knowledgeable, customer-focused, detail-oriented professional who understands parts accuracy, inventory control, and service in a busy dealership environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dealership parts counterperson or experience as an OEM parts employee.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in inventory control and management processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Strong OEM parts knowledge.
- Sales experience, particularly in retail settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
