About The Position

Jeff Wyler Kings Nissan is seeking a full-time Lot Technician. The role verifies the receipt and condition of new vehicles delivered to the dealership, organizes and parks vehicles in the new-vehicle lot, and helps maintain vehicles in storage. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 8 p.m. Pay is $15–$16 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify that accessories listed on invoices are present.
• Record damage descriptions and list missing items on delivery receipts.
• Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
• Catalog and store keys.
• Assign stock control numbers to cars.
• Move sold vehicles to maximize space and keep the lot orderly.
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
• Service vehicles in storage to protect tires, batteries, and finishes against deterioration.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
