About The Position

Jeff Wyler Florence Honda is seeking a motivated, energetic, and dedicated Collision Repair/Body Shop Technician. This fast-paced, challenging role involves repairing vehicle bodies and straightening frames, while working professionally with coworkers and customers and taking ownership of the customer experience. The technician examines vehicle damage and restores vehicles to factory specifications, using appropriate and efficient repair methods and specialized equipment.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
At least 4 years of experience, as stated in the job details.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.
Ability to adapt to and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

3–4 years of body shop experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly examine vehicle damage.
Return vehicles to factory specifications.
Remove vehicle trim to access the body.
Fill depressions with body filler and ensure quality repairs.
Remove damaged parts using power tools and a cutting torch.
Bolt or weld replacement parts into position using power tools and welding equipment.
Straighten bent automobile frames using a frame rack.
File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
Aim headlights.
Replace panel bolts and align panels properly.
Make cosmetic repairs.
Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections to original specifications.
Develop appropriate and efficient methods for each job.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
