About The Position

Genesis of Las Vegas is seeking a customer-service-oriented Parts Advisor to join a supportive team. The role supports vehicle repair and service by coordinating, ordering, receiving, storing, and tracking parts, and by assisting customers and vendors. Compensation is commission-based. The schedule is flexible and includes one day off during the week, with all Sundays off.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the automotive field.
• Understanding of basic automotive components and systems.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain a clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service with the Service Team.
• Order parts from suppliers based on requests from the Service Department and customers.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed.
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns.
