About The Position

Bell Road Toyota is seeking a Parts Advisor who is passionate about customer service, motivated to grow, and eager to be part of a supportive and friendly team. This role is for a workplace that values development, collaboration, and respect. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers, answering telephone and greeting customers & vendors, maintaining a clean work area, interacting with the Service Team, ordering parts, receiving and storing parts, taking inventory, receiving payment, and processing returns.

Requirements

Understand basic automotive components and systems
Excellent customer service skills
Computer literacy
Ability to build successful relationships with customers
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

Previous parts advisor experience, preferred
Automotive dealership service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers
Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain clean appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
Process core returns, parts warranties and part returns as necessary.
