About The Position

Fury Ford Waconia is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Parts Counterperson Advisor to join their team. This role involves assisting technicians and customers in finding the correct parts, managing orders, and contributing to an efficient parts department. The ideal candidate possesses automotive parts knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Dealership parts experience is preferred, but individuals with strong automotive knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Automotive parts knowledge or related automotive experience
Comfortable using computers, electronic catalogs, and inventory systems
Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Ability to lift and move automotive parts as needed

Nice To Haves

Previous dealership or parts-counter experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

Assist technicians, service advisors, wholesale customers, and retail customers with parts needs
Identify and locate the correct parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems
Provide accurate pricing and availability information
Create and process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders
Communicate with customers regarding order status and expected delivery
Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming parts
Maintain accurate inventory records and help resolve discrepancies
Coordinate with the Service Department to keep repairs moving efficiently
Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
Keep the parts counter, shelves, and work areas clean and organized
Follow dealership procedures for safety, security, and inventory control
