About The Position
Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Helena is seeking a Parts Advisor to join their team. This role involves managing parts inventory, assisting customers and the service team, and processing orders and returns. The dealership offers a competitive commission-based pay plan and a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in the automotive field
- Understand basic automotive components and systems
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone and greet customers and vendors.
- Maintain a clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
- Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
- Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer request.
- Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed.
- Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls.
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
- Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns.
