About The Position

Dealership: L0258 Buick GMC of Beaverton Buick GMC of Beaverton Now Hiring – Part-Time Parts Advisor! Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm

Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Sense of urgency
Excellent communication
Mathematics – calculations of inventory, payments and invoices.
Knowledge of automotive parts
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.
Communicate with customers and vendors by phone, in-person or email.
Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock availability, and taking parts orders.
Maintain clean and organized appearance of counter, work area and stockroom.
Work with Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
Create accurate invoices in ADP.
Receive, unpack and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed.
Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders. Check number and unit cost and total billing for charges against proper records.
Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls.
Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns.
