Partner, Media and Brand

Praxis•New York, NY
•$170,000 - $195,000

About The Position

Praxis is hiring a senior creative leader to lead its in-house media production team and serve as one of its most senior leaders. The role leads the team that imagines, develops, and produces Praxis’s films and content series, brand and design work, editorial writing, and campaigns, and helps bring that work to the right audiences. Reporting to the Managing Partner, Media, Brand and Product, the Partner will develop the studio into a high-performing agency and production house, integrating strategy, development, production, and distribution. The role combines creative studio leadership with brand stewardship. The Partner will help keep the Praxis brand coherent across audience touchpoints, work across teams to integrate it throughout the organization, and lead adaptation of Praxis Media for regions and languages around the world. The role emphasizes creative producing, team building, and implementation over serving as the sole creative director or author of ideas. The leader is expected to coach and develop the creative team, establish strong operating systems, and ensure work is completed and distributed at a consistently high standard. Praxis seeks a humble, ambitious, high-EQ leader with at least 15 years of experience across creative leadership settings, a record of producing standout work at scale, and experience building teams and creative capabilities. The role involves developing internal talent and a network of mission-aligned creative partners, as well as expanding the studio’s reach and localization approach across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and South America. New York City is preferred; remote work may be considered for a highly experienced candidate. Travel includes quarterly team meetings, the annual Praxis Summit, and other meetings and events as needed; Praxis covers travel expenses.
