About The Position

Le Groupe Maurice is seeking a passionate and strategic HR Business Partner to join its team and actively contribute to its mission. This role acts as a strategic lever for managers, supporting them in achieving their objectives, talent development, and organizational transformation. Through influence-based leadership, you will help evolve HR practices in line with the organization's values and ambitions. Reporting to the HR Director - Operations, you will be a key player in HR strategy, supporting managers and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • More than 6 years of experience in an HR consulting role, ideally in a multi-site and unionized environment.
  • Expertise in labor relations, organizational development, training, or occupational health and safety.
  • Excellent business acumen, strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.
  • Recognized skills in communication, influence, partnership, and managing complex situations in a dynamic environment.
  • Mobility for site visits (valid driver's license and access to a vehicle required).

Nice To Haves

  • Second-cycle degree and CRHA/CRIA designation (assets).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR business partner to managers, supporting them in achieving their objectives and managing their challenges.
  • Analyze HR indicators, formulate recommendations, and support the implementation of action plans aimed at organizational performance.
  • Advise managers on leadership, talent management, performance, team development, communication, and change management.
  • Support managers in labor relations: interpretation of collective agreements, negotiation, grievance management, workplace investigations, and application of labor laws.
  • Support the deployment of HR programs and policies (total rewards, onboarding, development, recognition, opening of new residences, and organizational transformation).
  • Collaborate with HR teams and regional management to promote organizational efficiency, a healthy work environment, and prevention in occupational health and safety.
