Requirements

  • Good sense of initiative, autonomous in tasks.
  • Demonstrates professional rigor, meticulousness, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Counseling, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the construction field and knowledge of laws and regulations governing the construction industry (an asset).
  • High level of computer proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Functional bilingualism in English/French to collaborate daily with key international stakeholders involved in the project.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic and operational consulting to the management team and partners, while offering support to all project employees.
  • Ensures effective communication with project partners.
  • Ensures the efficient operation of human resources management policies and practices for all its sectors, while respecting the overall alignment of the project.
  • Coordinates the personnel assignment process with partners and the project.
  • May be involved in the recruitment process for personnel assigned to the project.
  • Plans and coordinates onboarding sessions for new employees according to established procedures.
  • Advises and supports managers on discipline, performance management, talent management, and any other HR-related processes.
  • Acts as a field contact person for conflict management and labor relations.
  • Conducts various investigations and accompanies managers in meetings with employees.
  • Ensures, with the support of the labor relations manager, the application and interpretation of the collective agreement and labor laws.
  • Ensures the application of laws and regulations.
